12+ years in enterprise cybersecurity across federal government, Fortune 500, and international environments. My work has consistently sat between hands-on technical implementation and the governance and risk decisions that drive security programs.

At the IRS, I worked in the Security Strategy and Investments division under the Office of Cybersecurity. I co-led Risk Management and Cybersecurity Governance and Privacy, and led Cybersecurity Knowledge Management. At Merck, I was embedded in the Cyber Fusion Center building the Splunk analytics capability for incident response management, vulnerability management, and risk reduction. Before coming to the U.S., I managed information security and technology for the National Assembly of Nigeria and advised parliamentary leadership on security and technology strategy.

Security isn't a feature you add at the end. It's an architecture decision you make at the beginning.

I brought that mindset into product engineering. Today I design and ship production SaaS products across healthcare, financial services, and civic technology. Every build starts with the threat model before the first UI component gets designed.
